Manakama Temple - Nepal

The Manakamana temple is the sacred place of the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati: It is believed that Goddess Bhagwati grants the wishes of all those who make the pilgrimage to her shrine to worship her. The temple is located at 1302 meters above sea level and overlooks the river valleys of Trisuli in the south and Marsyangdi in the west. The spectacular views of the Manaslu- Himachali and Annapurna ranges can be seen to the north of the temple. The temple is approximately 104 Km drive from Kathmandu and can also be reached via bus east from Pokhara in around three to four hours. Easy to access with ropeway, you can reach the top in 15 minutes. A narrow street full of souvenir shops leads from the ropeway to the temple. No much foreign tourism there.






















There is a cable car that runs from the cable station of Cheres and  rides over the distance of 2.8 kilometers in 10 minutes.

Grand Palace, Bangkok, Thailand


The Grand Palace (Phra Borom Maha Ratcha Wang) is a wide complex of buildings including temples, statues, paintings and gardens in Bangkok. Construction began in 1782 when the capital city moved to Bangkok. The complex is around 218,400 square metres surrounded by walls.The Grand Palace is one of  the musts to see in Thailand.

Belém Tower, Lisbon, Portugal


Belém Tower is a fortified tower located in Belém in Lisbon. Under the UNESCO World Heritage (along with the nearby Jerónimos Monastery. The tower was a part of a defense system at the river.
The tower was built in the early 16th century. Now sits near the shore because the river was redirected after the 1755 earthquake. The tower was built originally on a small island in the Tagus River.

Zaragoza, Fiestas del Pilar, Spain

The Offering of Flowers to the Virgin every 12th of October in Zaragoza, is the demonstration of the people’s devotion to the Virgin. During the morning and afternoon of the 12th of October, hundreds of thousands of people, dressed in the traditional way, bring flowers to the Virgin, placed in the centre of the Plaza del Pilar. There, volunteers put them as a flower mantle around the Virgin. The duration of the parade lasts over eight hours.
